Does my pet really need bloodwork before surgery?
Yes — it's required for every surgical patient, not optional. Bloodwork shows us how the liver and kidneys are likely to handle anesthesia and can reveal issues that change the plan before we begin.
Who watches my pet during surgery?
Your pet's oxygen level, temperature, and vitals are monitored constantly from induction through recovery. Monitoring doesn't pause — neither do we.
How soon can my pet eat after surgery?
Most pets are interested in dinner the same evening. We'll give you specific feeding instructions at discharge, including medication timing, and you'll have our number if your pet isn't bouncing back as expected.
